Our Belief

God We believe in one God — the Creator of the universe, eternally existing in three persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; co-equal in power and glory, having the same attributes and perfections (Deuteronomy 6:4; 1 Corinthians 13:14). (Genesis 1:1; Psalm 102:25)  Jesus Christ We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God who became man without ceasing to be God, having been conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, in order that He might reveal God and redeem humanity (John 1:1-2; 14; Luke 1:35). We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ accomplished our redemption through. His death on the cross. We believe in the physical resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 3:24; 1 Peter 2:24; Ephesians 1:7; 1 Peter 1:3-5). We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ gave the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all men by dying on the cross. (Matthew 1:22-23; Isaiah 9:6; John 1:1-5; 1st Corinthians 15:3-4).

Our Vision

To make disciples of all men by: Studying God’s Word, walking in the Light, serving as a lamp to others; and becoming change agents through the examples of our Savior Jesus Christ (2nd Timothy 2:15; John 1:1-16; Romans 12:2; 1st John 2:6).

Our Mission

Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church lives to: Save, Equip and Send The loss to be saved (John 3:16), the saved to be equipped (2nd Timothy 2:2) and the equipped to be sent (Romans 10:9-15).
